My photos from this wedding come in a full six stages: the Hen Do, the evening before the wedding when we congregated in Leyburn, the Church do, the Drinks Reception, the Evening Reception and the Morning After. If this seems excessive to you, it seems entirely delightful to me!

The Hen Do took place mostly at Forbidden Corner, which if not quite (as its advertising claims) the strangest place in the world is certainly a fascinating garden, with grottos, tunnels, towers, statues, peculiar music and other oddities to delight and confuse. Eight of us went: Nikki, her sister and a cousin, two university friends of Nikki's, and three university friends of Andy's. | ||||

The evening before the wedding, various university friends of Andy's and Nikki's congregated in Leyburn for a sociable evening rather than travel down on the morning of the wedding. | ||||

The wedding guests then congregated in Nikki's parents' garden for Pimms and wedding cake. |

Next morning, the Chiltons hosted breakfast for such of the guests as cared to attend, in their garden once again. | ||||
